I'm so very glad that I've chosen to send this letter out to you all on April 2nd and NOT April Fool's Day (yesterday), for some of you would be silly enough to believe it to be a joke, but I assure you that it's not!
We here @ Goddess Empire came into this town a little over a year ago (Valentine's Day of 2006) and most of you have been a part of our lives in some capacity ever since. You have watched us strategically plant seeds and roots in this town over the past 14 months and watched us whether many a storms (of controversy, bullshit & mayhem) in the process, while still managing to both survive and thrive here; with many a projects that have begun to bare tremendous fruit for us. Truth be told... EXCELLENCE & INTEGRITY WILL ALWAYS RISE TO THE TOP OF ANY
SCENARIO!
And we pride ourselves on that, as a family and an organization.
Like a gangbuster, amid all of the rumors, hearsay and conjecture, I've held myself out with my head on the
chopping block against Tru Talent to get most of you that I met there (and then some) either full refunds,
$ettlements and/or cancellations of your contracts with that erroneous agency, that I worked at for a little over a month (just long enough for God to introduce some of us to one another).
And your affiliations with The Empire have hopefully gotten ALL of you (at one time or another) a chance to enjoy the generosities and privileges of our association by way of excellent Drama Classes (that have increased your skill in some capacity), compiling of your promotional packages (photos, bio, demo reel web links), career counseling, showcases, professional advise and a myriad of FREE shows, movies, breakfasts, lunches, dinners & entree into feature films on the verge of being made right here in your home town.
In other words, we have each been a part of each other's solutions and NEVER each other's problems, as well as an Family should be. And from the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of my whole entire family, I want to thank you, one and all, for that fact! You guys have hung in there with me/us and I/we have hung in there with all of you (albeit there have been a few fallen soldiers and casualties of war). Granted.
However, with that being said, I'm sure that ALL of you are more than aware of the unbridled excitement that me, Wanda & Siameze have been buzzing around with recently with the advent of the plethora of positive MAJOR
projects we have coming up that will feature and benefit us all. Some you know about, such as our heavy
involvement in the feature film projects... 'STRIPPER', 'DANCE VEGAS' & 'THE BOUNCERS: AN OLD SCHOOL PARTY'; and then there are the one's that you don't (by our choice, as they're NOT yet ready to be announced, but will be shortly).
This past week and the one now upon us, in particular are being used to shore and firm up ALL of the
aforementioned deals (both known and unknown to you), which is what postponed our L.A. trip (giving some of you a chance to still get your demo reels together). Let's just say this... YOU'RE ALL IN FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE, 'CAUSE IT'S GONNA BE ONE HELLUVA GREAT YEAR, DEAR FAMILY!
Speaking to Wanda and Siameze in great length yesterday over breakfasts, as we are firm believers that
